IRVINE, Calif. --- Last week, Casey Cappo highlighted a two-game road trip in Hawaii. The conference named him the PacWest Defender of the Week behind his 50 points and 19 rebounds.

The weekly honor was the second of the season for the senior, who also moved his career total defender of the week honors to four.

Cappo delivered big for Biola last week, offering his best-ever performance in a win over Chaminade. 30 points and 14 boards boosted the Eagles in overtime, as he reached a new career-high in points. The 14 rebounds was also the third-highest in a single game in the PacWest so far this year.

On Saturday, Cappo continued his impressive play with 20 points and five rebounds with one steal. 

The senior only missed four shots in each game, converting at a 68.0 percent clip from the field.

Cappo and the Eagles will be back in action at home on Thursday, facing Point Loma at 7:30 pm.
