KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- BU men's basketball was recognized for its success in the classroom with a National Association of Basketball Coaches Team Academic Excellence honor, as announced on Monday. The group boasted a 3.29 team grade-point average to make the prestigious list.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognized men's basketball programs that completed the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Six Eagles got the work done in the classroom to make the NABC Honors Court. The distinguished upperclassmen were Daniel Esparza, Erik Howlin, Maximo Milovich, Hunter Ruck, Kevin Stone, and Myja White.

Over 2,100 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and over 360 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2023-24.
