IRVINE, Calif. --- The top rebounder in the conference picked up another PacWest Defender of the Week honor on Monday. Maximo Milovich nabbed his fourth of the year, following a dominant week on the glass.

Biola men's basketball competed up in northern California last week, battling Academy of Art and Dominican. The team was successful in its season finale, defeating the Penguins on the road, 62-52.

Milovich was a rebounding machine through the two games. His big effort came against Dominican, as he grabbed 22 boards. The stellar amount of rebounds was good for the most in program-history in the DII-era and beat his previous personal-best by six.

In the week, the forward produced 33 rebounds and 11 points. He also added three blocks and one steal to his strong defensive performance.

Back-to-back double-digit rebound showings improved his season total to 13 such performances this season.

Biola will enter the PacWest Championships on Thursday, facing Hawaii Hilo in the opening round at 2:45 pm in San Diego, California.
