COSTA MESA, Calif.---The Biola women's basketball team struggled to find consistency in their 54-39 loss against Vanguard.

Biola's successful second quarter was led by Jessa Thurman who scored six points. Following Thurman was Jaycee Goldsmith with five, Sydney Moran with three and Camden Miller with two. BU averaged their best field goal percentage of the game in the second quarter (50 percent) while holding Vanguard to a shooting percentage of 28.57.
