IRVINE, Calif. --- A single game last week saw a shining performance from Maximo Milovich. The star forward helped the Eagles to a win on the road, while earning his way to a PacWest Defender of the Week honor.

"Max's rebounding has been such a big factor for us all four years he's been here," said Head Coach Dave Holmquist. "His effort on both ends of the floor is excellent and has made a big impact for our team. One of the many reasons he's a great teammate is his consistent effort on the floor."

Milovich nabbed his third PacWest weekly honor of the 2023-24 campaign with Monday's announcement. He has been a consistent force for the Eagles, boasting the 10th most rebounds in the nation at 184.

In the lone contest of the week, Biola picked up a win over Fresno Pacific on Saturday afternoon. Milovich delivered in all aspects of the game but dominated on the glass with 15 rebounds. He reached 15 boards for the third time this season, while adding eight offensive rebounds in the win. 

In addition to his work near the hoop, Milovich tacked on one block, one steal, and six points.

BU men's basketball will return to the planks with a road bout at Concordia on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
