IRVINE, Calif. --- Casey Cappo shocked Azusa Pacific on Saturday and walked into the PacWest Defender of the Week award on Monday. 

The highlight of the week was Cappo's buzzer-beating three-pointer on Saturday. The shot sucked the air out of the Felix Events Center in Azusa, as the Eagles took down APU, 76-75.

The last-second win added to Cappos's week, as he already had a double-double to his name. In the team's Wednesday contest, the forward led the squad with 17 points to go along with a season-best 15 rebounds.

On the week, Cappo averaged 14.5 points and 12.0 rebounds through the pair of games. He also tacked on two blocks in the win on Saturday.

Monday's defender of the week honor was the second of the year for Cappo.

Biola will be back on the court on Wednesday, hosting Point Loma at 7:30 pm.
