IRVINE, Calif. --- The Eagles (4-2) have a lot to be thankful for following a week of two victories during the holiday season. Maximo Milovich made his impact felt with a double-double in each contest, helping him score his second PacWest Defender of the Week award this season.

The Buenos Aires, Argentina native was fantastic for Biola in back-to-back games leading up to Thanksgiving. Milovich was stout in the paint, as BU defeated CSU Dominguez Hills on Tuesday and SAGU American Indian College on Wednesday.

22 points and 15 rebounds against the Warriors marked a best for the rising star. The impressive total was a career-best in points, while matching his career-high for rebounds as well. The midweek performance only added to a stellar showing on Tuesday, with 12 points and 11 rebounds against the Toros.

In the season, Milovich has stood out amongst the entire nation. In the NCAA Division II, Milovich ranks in the top five for double-doubles (3), rebounds (70), offensive rebounds per game (5.0) and rebounds per game (11.7) in 2022.

In addition, Milovich contributed a block and three steals between the two games, which continued his streak of games with a takeaway to five.

Milovich and the Eagles will be back on the court on Thursday at 7:30 pm, taking on Fresno Pacific in Fresno, California.
