BELMONT, Calif.---The Biola University Volleyball team picked up another win on the road, this time against Academy of Art. 

The Eagles rose 11-9 overall and 8-5 in the PacWest Conference, while the Urban Knights fell 4-14 and 3-6 in the conference. Biola continues on a modest two-match winning streak and currently ranks sixth in the PacWest standings behind first place Chaminade, second Fresno Pacific, third Point Loma, fourth Azusa Pacific and fifth Concordia. 

BU was on fire in their 25-20, 25-13, 25-14 volleyball win against the ART U. The Eagles out-hit the Urban Knights 47-25. Biola as a team averaged a 425 hitting percentage. Anna Aubele was the Eagles' leader, executing a 607 hitting percentage followed by Grace Guy, Abby Brewster and Emily Smith who averaged 500.

Two Eagles had kills in the double digits. Aubele led her team with 19 kills and Madison Beebe put down 13 in Biola's three-set win. 

Abigail Copeland killed it at the net, collecting five of her team's total of six blocks. 

Brewster picked up 38 assists tonight, successfully setting her team up for success on the court.

Next up for the Eagles is a big match against Fresno Pacific. Biola takes on the Sunbirds on Saturday, October 15 at 1 p.m. at Chase Gymnasium.
