IRVINE, Calif.---The Biola University Men's Soccer Team won two of the three conference weekly awards this week, receiving the PacWest's Team and Player of the Week honors.

The Eagles won two big games on the road on Thursday (10/6) and Saturday (10/8). On Thursday Biola beat Academy of Art 4-1 and on Saturday the men's soccer squad took down undefeated Dominican by a close score of 3-2.

Biola's conference record is currently 3-0 and they are set to compete against Point Loma tomorrow Wednesday, October 11 who is currently 1-1 in conference play at Al Barbour Field.

Adam Jones, PacWest Player of the Week, saw 63 minutes of combined action last week that he made count. Jones came off the bench in both matches and continued to play a big role in his team's victories. 

Jones played 35 minutes against the Urban Knights where he scored Biola's fourth goal - and the closer of the night. And then on Saturday, Jones saw 28 minutes of action where he contributed to two of Biola's three goals. Jones assisted the first goal and proceeded to tied up the match with the Eagles' second goal.  

Jones' two goals and assist were also his first scores of the season.
