Undefeated

The men’s soccer team remains undefeated in conference play with their 3-2 win over Dominican at Kennelly Field.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif.---The Biola University Men's Soccer team collected a big 3-2 win against Dominican Saturday afternoon at Kennelly Field.

The Eagles defeated the PacWest's top-ranked team, Dominican. DU was sitting in first place with four conference wins and the Eagles (3-0) were tied for second with Holy Names (2-1). Biola's head-to-head win will edge the Penguins out of first place, making Biola the team to beat in the league.

Biola's first goal was in the 30th minute by Ethan Hardin with assists from Adam Jones and Theo Le Calve.

Two minutes later Dominican received a scoring opportunity with a foul in the box. DU's Cisse Aboubacar took the kick and scored the game-tying goal (1-1).

The Eagles regrouped quickly, scoring their next goal in the 35th minute. Mayrhonn Serefio found Adam Jones who fired in the Eagles' second goal (2-1).

Biola and Dominican continued to battle it out in the final half.

The Penguins ended up scoring first, cashing in on another penalty kick (2-2).

With the pressure on, the Eagles prevailed, scoring the game-winner in the 81st minute. Izaac Zaush found Colaci at the left post. Kristian Colaci collected the pass and pivoted to send in the game-leading goal (3-2).

Colaci is now tied as the seventh-highest scorer in Division II with 10 on the season.
