UNITED SOCCER COACHES RELEASE
 

LA MIRADA, Calif. --- For the third time in the last four years, Biola Women's Soccer earned a Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches for the programs' success in the classroom. 

United Soccer Coaches recognized a total of 889 women's and men's soccer programs across all three NCAA divisions for earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better during the 2019-20 academic year. Five other PacWest women's soccer programs were recognized on Thursday along with the Eagles: Academy of Art, Azusa Pacific, Dominican, Hawaii Pacific and Point Loma

Head Coach Erin's Brunelle's roster of 35 earned a cumulative GPA of 3.68 and picked up this award on the heels of several other academic accomplishments that included 29 Academic All-PacWest recipients and 21 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honorees. Women's Soccer also earned this recognition in 2017 and 2018 and becomes the fourth Biola Athletics program to be recognized for its 2019-20 academic success by its sport's coaching association.

Biola Women's Track & Field, Men's Track & Field, and Baseball also received team academic awards over the past few months.
