LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Last week Alex Wright helped Biola Men's Basketball go 2-1 in home games against the three Hawaii schools. The freshman averaged over nine points-per-game and sat right around eight rebounds-per-game to impress the PacWest Conference and earn its coveted Freshman of the Week award. It's Wright's fourth Freshman of the Week award this season.

He began the week with his first collegiate double-double, dropping 12 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Hawaii Hilo. His biggest game was in the week's finale when he helped the Eagles to a 70-56 win over Hawaii Pacific and posted a season-best 11 assists. In that game he added seven rebounds, two steals and a handful of points.

Wright is the only player in the conference with four freshman of the week honors. He's just ahead of Concordia Irvine's Kayle Knuckles who's won the award three times.

Biola and Wright end their season this week with a pair of home games. The Eagles host Dominican at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday (FREE CHICK-FIL-A) and then have their senior night against ART U at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
