RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- It was an early start on Saturday morning for Biola Men's Tennis as the Eagles played their second match in three days, this time at NCAA Division I UC Riverside.

The Highlanders got the 7-0 victory by earning 6-2 wins in all three doubles matches and then sweeping through singles as well.

Logan Blair forced No. 5 singles all the way to a tiebreaker and came close to stealing a match for the Eagles. He forced his opponent into an extended first set and managed to come away with the 7-5 win to set him up well for the match. The second set was 6-1 in favor of the UCR player and then the two young men battled all the way through until UCR got the 10-8 win in the tiebreaker.

Outside of that all other singles matches were decided in straight sets. The number one matchup was especially intriguing as Lucas Lee took Pawel Jankowiak extra games in the first set before ultimately falling 7-6.

The Eagles begin the season 0-3, while UCR improves to 3-6 with this win.

Men's Tennis plays one more match on the road (at Chapman on Tuesday) before returning home for the first time this season when it hosts Point Loma on Saturday, Feb. 17.
