LA MIRADA, Calif. --- For the second time this season Biola's Alex Wright has earned PacWest Conference Freshman of the Week honors. He becomes the first two-time recipient this season.

Biola suffered two tough road losses last week at Point Lom and Concordia Irvine, but Wright did all he could to help the cause, scoring 24 points, including his fifth and sixth double-figure point games of the season.

Wright shot 8-of-18 (.444) from the field, including making six three-point shots. He made four threes against Point Loma, as the Eagles tried to keep pace with the top team in the conference.

Wright and his teammates have a full week of practice this week leading up to Saturday night's rivalry game against Azusa Pacific.
