LAKEWOOD, Calif. --- At 6-foot-7-inches, Erik Kinnebrew can stuff the box score from the guard position. The Lakewood, California native averaged seven points, seven rebounds and four assists at Allan Hancock College last season and looks poised to fill the needs Head Coach Dr. Dave Holmquist has in his rotation starting next fall.

"Erik has good size, even for the three position," said Holmquist. "He's very skilled with the dribble and the pass and shows the potential to be a good shooter and rebounder."

Kinnebrew plans to major in business when he enrolls at Biola and has the ability to play both guard positions and forward for the Eagles. He hopes his time at the University will prepared him for a coaching career in basketball.

"I chose Biola because of the opportunity it gives me to maximize my potential as a student-athlete while growing in my faith in Christ," said Kinnebrew.

He will join the Eagles when the team returns for classes in the fall.
