Box Score SANTA CLARITA, Calif. --- After playing one of their best games of the season on Tuesday night, the Eagles took a big step back on Saturday in a 6-1 loss on the road at No. 15 The Master's.
Biola looked completely outmatched from the start as the Mustangs were able to net their first score in the first ten minutes and continued with a flurry of goals that saw them up 5-0 at the half.
Scoring came from all around for the Mustangs as all of their six scores came from six different feet.
Brittney Sayre netted Biola's lone goal in the 78
th minute, unassisted.
After a very rough first 45 minutes, the Eagles rebounded well to play to a 1-1 draw in the second half after the coaching staff broke down their play and made some personnel changes.
The win moves TMC to 14-4 (6-4 GSAC) and drops Biola back to 9-8-1 (3-6-1 GSAC).
BU finishes the year sixth in GSAC and takes on Vanguard (14-3, 7-3 GSAC) in Costa Mesa, Calif. on Tuesday for the opening round of the GSAC tournament.
