Box Score SANTA CLARITA, Calif. --- A goal three minutes into overtime ended Biola's upset attempt in its GSAC Opener as No. 23 The Master's College pulled off the overtime winner by a 2-1 count on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Clarita.
The Eagles drop to 3-4-1 on the seaon and to 0-1-0 in the conference while the Mustangs move to 6-1-2 overall and to 1-0-0 in GSAC play.
Biola got on the board with an unassisted goal by
Amanda Lillicrop in the 24th minute which tied the match at 1-1 just seven minutes after the Mustangs went on top with the first goal.
Neither team had many great scoring chances in the second period with just seven total shots taken over the final 45 minutes of regulation.
In the overtime session, the Mustangs netted the match-winner just under three minutes in on the second goal of the match by Shea Richards.

Marina Rodriguez suffered the loss despite making five saves and facing 14 shots in the match.
Biola returns to action on Saturday with another tough road match, traveling to Irvine to face No. 14 Concordia at 3:00 p.m. Concordia was a 4-0 winner in its GSAC opener at Arizona Christian on Tuesday.
