LA MIRADA---Peyton Nelson and Briley Phelps earned spots on the PacWest Conference's All-Conference Second Team.

Nelson, a senior forward, received All-PacWest honors for the third time in her career. This season she led the PacWest in both shots (64) and shots on goal (27). She had the fifth-most goals in the conference (6) and had the eighth-most points in the league (14). She also recorded two assists and one game-winning goal.

"Peyton has been a pillar of leadership and culture in our program since day one," stated head coach Brett Croft. "Peyton is a tenacious forward who possesses a nose for goals coupled with elite athleticism and work rate. This accolade is much deserved, and I am appreciative of the opposing coaches seeing the value in Peyton that we see everyday."

Phelps, a junior midfielder, earned All-PacWest for the second time in her career. This year she was named PacWest Player of the Week for recording a hat trick and an assist against Westcliff. She was a PacWest leader in five statistical categories including having the most assists (5), ranked third in the league in goal scoring (7), third in points (19), fourth in shots (39) and third in shots on goal (20).

Additionally, Phelps had three games this season where she tallied at least one goal and one assist.

"Briley has been a 90 minute player since day one in our program," concluded Croft. "On the field Briley brings an elite level of technical superiority and soccer intelligence alongside a competitive spirit that is unmatched. Briley will be the foundational piece to our team next fall, leading the way in her third consecutive year as a team captain and leader."
