VANCOUVER, Wash. --- Freshman Kellian Hunt earned NAIA All-America honors with a 15th place finish, leading Biola to a 10th place finish overall at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships held on Saturday at the Fort Vancouver Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash.

In addition to a solid showing by the women's team, Biola's men's team was represented by junior Danny Ledesma, who qualified as an individual. While the rain held off during the women's race, it steadily came down during the men's race. However, Ledesma ran through it strong and finished 114th overall with a time of 26:16.

On the women's side, Biola placed all five scorers in the 100 separated by just 83 seconds with a trio of freshman as the top three Eagles finishers. The top two Biola runners to cross the line were Hunt, who led the way with a 15th-place finish overall in a time of 18:20, and Neysa Mains, who placed 55th overall with a time of 18:57.

Fellow freshman Ilima Kung took home 98th with a time of 19:30 followed by senior Rachel Stump in 123rd place with a time of 19:41. Junior Kasey Schalich rounded out the scoring five for the Eagles in 128th place in 19:43.

Rounding out the contingent for Biola was junior Chelsea Janzen in 137th place in 19:45 and freshman Brooke Arvidson in 199th place in 20:18.

The women's Top 10 finish made it six-straight seasons the Eagles have finished in the top 12 including five of those seasons in the top 10.

The University of British Columbia won the women's team title with 98 points, edging College of Idaho which scored 112. COI's Hillary Holt took the women's individual title with a time of 17:00.

On the men's side, Saint Francis of Illinois won the mens' title with 138 points while The Master's College's John Gilbertson won the individual title in 23:56.
