Kenny Alcosiba has put in work over the past four years with the Biola Swim & Dive team to get himself to the point where he is today. Over the past weekend that hard work paid off with a strong performance at the 2015 Collegiate Winter Invite.

Alcosiba swam three individual events and four relays over the course of the three-day meet and had his performance highlighted by a new personal-best and a new national cut.

He swam 2:14.18 in the 200-breaststroke to earn another qualification for the NAIA National Championships. That was his lifetime-best in the event.

He earned another lifetime-best in the 200-freestyle when he completed the event in 2:00.71.

Alcosiba and the Eagles finished third in the meet to end the fall portion of their season on a high note. The team continues its season in mid-January with a double-dual meet against Azusa Pacific and CSU East Bay.
