Annie Park went off on Tuesday night, sizzling from a distance all night long, going 6-for-7 from deep to record 31 points in the Eagles' overtime loss to the now-conference champion No. 6 Concordia Eagles.
She became the fifth Golden State Athletic Conference player to score 30-plus points in a game this season. She kept that hot shooting going on Saturday night, when the Biola Athletics highlight of the week came in an 81-76 upset win over No. 8 Vanguard.
Park had 16 points and three assists in that one as one of four Biola's players to score in double-digits. She helped Biola set a new season-best for shooting percentage, as the team made 57.7 percent of its shots against the Lions.
Park and the Eagles improved to 16-12 (8-6 GSAC) with the 1-1 week and kept themselves just one game back from No. 16 The Master's College, who is in fourth place in the GSAC standings at the moment.
Biola plays TMC and No. 15 Westmont on the road this week, and if they can get find a way to get into that fourth-place spot will host an opening round GSAC Tournament game.
