Trevor Treinen led Biola Men's Basketball to a strong week in its return from Christmas break. The senior helped Biola go 1-1 and nearly upset the top team in the conference, Point Loma.

The Eagles had a chance to force the game to overtime in the final seconds, but came up just short in an impressive 68-65 effort in a loss to the Sea Lions. Then, a few days later he was the team's leading scorer in a 28-point win over Notre Dame de Namur on the road.

Treinen averaged 14 points-per-game this week, nearly doubled his season three-point FG total and added 11 assists to help set up BU for a big three-game week this week.

The Eagles begin their week with a 7:30 p.m. contest against Academy of Art on Monday.
