It was a challenging week overall for Biola Baseball between Feb. 8-14, but that was not because of anything JD Meyer did.

The Eagles' junior second baseman had a huge week at the plate as he racked up seven hits and three walks over the course of four games.

He put up a ridiculous 1.063 slugging percentage by accumulating 17 total bases thanks to his three doubles, two triples and a homerun.

His big fly in Saturday's opener up at Menlo College was hit first of the 2016 season. It accounted for one of his four RBI on the week and was one of his three runs scored.

He and Eugene Shin both hit over .400 in a 1-3 week for the Eagles when the team hit .282 overall.

This season Meyer is hitting .292 and has scored seven runs. his .346 on-base percentage is fourth-best among Head Coach Jay Sullenger's starters.

Meyer and the Eagles play four home games this week. They host College of Idaho and Bethesda for two games a piece beginning on Wednesday.
