Dr. Micah Klausman joined Head Coach Rick Nordell's coaching staff during the fall 2022 season, which was the program's second competitive year.
Klausman coached at Orange Lutheran High School as the boy's water polo lead assistant coach. In 2022, Klausman helped the Lancer's win the Division I Southern Section.
Klausman was previously the head coach at Sonora High School and La Habra High School. He led his Sonora team to the Freeway League Championship in 2018.
In addition to his service in water polo, he's had a career as both a senior pastor and associate pastor following his graduation from San Diego State (History) in 2009 and Fuller Theological Seminary (MA in theology) in 2012. Klausman earned a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Biola in 2024.
Klausman has been married to his wife Melissa since the summer of 2009, and the couple has three children together (Ellie, Piper and Judah). In his spare time, he enjoys spear fishing.
