Johnny Tibbils began his time as an assistant coach for Biola's volleyball frogram in Summer 2011. The team has an overall record of 85-22 in his three years under Head Coach Aaron Seltzer, with deep national tournament runs coming all three seasons.
Tibbils has a long connection to Biola, as a 2007 graduate with a B.S. in physical education. His brother, Tim, also attended Biola from 2007-09.Â
In addition to his assistant coaching duties, Tibbils also works as faculty in the KHPE department, teaching volleyball and flag football courses during the school year.Â
He spends his spare time, when he finds some, playing beach volleyball, exercising, watching movies and sports and spending time with friends.
