• Participated in the 600m and the relays in her first year at Biola
• Set her personal-best at 2:13.17 with a 600m run at the La Verne Indoor Distance meet
• Her best finish of the season was a second-place mark in the 4x800m relay at the CUI Last Chance Qualifier

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped two varsity seasons at Mission Viejo HS in Mission Viejo, Calif., graduating in 2013
• Also played softball, volleyball and cross country for the Diablos
• Won the Spirit of Diablo award
• Named team captain
• Was a scholar-athlete
• Graduated with high honors after being on the honor roll
 
PERSONAL
• Born Dec. 21, 1994 to Robert and Laura Mendoza
• Has two brothers (Michael and Eric)
• Majoring in Pre-Med, with hopes of becoming a trauma surgeon or an emergency RN
• She enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, camping, going to the beach and scrapbooking. She also collects stuffed animal pigs and loves spending time with family and friends.
