Biography

2014
• Part of Biola's GSAC Championship team
• Notched two All-GSAC honors with top-three finishes in the 4x400m relay and 4x100m relay
• Also ran the 400m and 400m hurdles at the conference championship meet
• Won the 4x100m relay in her first appearance of the season (La Verne Indoor Distance meet)
• Had just one finals finish outside of the top-three all season (Placed sixth in the 400m hurdles at the GSAC meet)

2013
• Named an NAIA All-American as a part of the Eagles' third place DMR group
• Earned All-GSAC recognition with top three finishes in the 400m (58.73), 4x100m relay (50.91) and 4x400m relay (4:00.04)
• Won the 4x400m relay at the Leonard "Blu" Blutreich Invite
• Only finished outside of the top five twice all season, both were sixth place finishes
• Part of Biola's GSAC Championship team

2012
• Qualified for the NAIA Indoor National Championships in the 4x400m relay
• Named All-GSAC after placing third in the 4x400m relay (3:54.56)
• The third place run at the GSAC championship meet set a new outdoor school record in the 4x400m
• Placed first in the 4x100m relay at the Soka Peace Invitational
• Finished outside the top 10 only twice all season, once at the NAIA Indoor National Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at Strathcona Christian Secondary in Sherwood Park, Alberta (CAN), graduating in 2011
• Holds the provincial record in 400m in the 15-year-old age group
• Qualified for the National Track & Field Championships in the 400m
• Set the district record in the 400m
• Two-time medalist in the 4x400m relay
• Made the academic honor roll all four years

PERSONAL
• Born Jan. 18, 1993 to Anthony and Shelley Lemphers
• Has one younger sister (Carissa)
• Majoring in interdisciplinary communications
• Hopes to work for South African non-profit organization Aleph Surf
• Named to the Biola dean’s list
• Enjoys surfing, writing, hiking, creating smoothies and juices and traveling
• Favorite Moment At Biola: “A girl on our time was crying at practice and we all stopped what we were doing, laid hands on her and prayed for her. It was so beautiful.”
• Favorite Bible Verse: Isaiah 43:18-21
 • Why I Love Biola: “Biola creates a sacred environment in which, if we choose to allow it, allows God to radically change our hearts. God radically transformed my heart through my time at Biola, and through the rich community that I have been blessed with.”
