PERSONAL 
• Born on March 16, 2006 to Matthew and Michelle Ballantyne 
• Has an older brother, Dean 
• Enjoys fishing and golfing during his freetime 
• Majoring in Accounting and hopes to get drafted and play professional baseball before looking for a job in accounting 
• Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 8:31 
• Reason Why I Chose Biola: “I wanted to attend a Christian University that had a competitive baseball program.”

HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Ontario Christian High School in 2024
• Played four varsity seasons with the Knights
• As a senior pitcher, he had a 7-3 record, 2.98 ERA over 56.1 innings and dealt 78 strikeouts
• At the plate his senior season, he had a .329 batting average, 11 RBIs, 26 hits, eight doubles and only seven strikeouts over 79 at bats 
• Helped his team to the CIF DIV 2024 Semi-Finals 
• Nominated for All-State, All-CIF 2024, First-Team All-League 23-24, and Second-Team All-League 2022
• Scholar Athlete all four years
