• Scored 50 goals and tallied 16 assists while a playing for the Highlanders
• Scored a season-high of 30 goals his senior season
• He advanced to the CIF semifinals and the CIF State SoCal Regionals three times
• CIF State SoCal Regional Champions and Huntington Beach High School Tournament Champions his senior year
• Garnered several accomplishments including two-time La Habra Offensive Player of the Year, two-time First Team All-Freeway League, First Team Division III All-CIF, San Gabriel Valley All-Area Boy's Soccer Player of the Year, and Division II All-CIF team 
• Four-year Scholar-Athlete, received a Top 25 Academic Achievement Award, and was a two-year National Honors Society Member 

PERSONAL
• Born February 5, 2002 to Jim & Stephanie Coombs
• Has three siblings: Tyson, Travis, and Tucker
• Travis, Tanner's older brother is also on the men's soccer team
• His mother was induced into the women's soccer Hall of Fame at Azusa Pacific
• Enjoys hanging out with friends and going outdoors, like to the mountains or beach
• Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 8:28
• Why I Chose Biola: "I really enjoyed the campus atmosphere when touring with the head men's soccer coach and I am looking forward to playing with the team and getting more involved in my faith."
