HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped three varsity seasons at Hart High School in Santa Clarita, Calif., graduating in 2020
• Helped Hart push its streak of undefeated league titles to seven-straight years 
• Earned All-Foothill League recognition as a senior
• Received Student-Athlete Academic award all four years of high school 
• NHS and CSF member and served as FCA Club President after being a member for three years
• Top goal-scorer for her Real So Cal - Santa Clarita Valley club team in 2019 after advancing to the South Cal National Cup Finals with the club the year prior.  

PERSONAL
• Born June 6, 2002 to Tom and Shelley Melvin
• Has two siblings (Rachel and Nathan)
• Sister Rachel also plays on Biola's women's soccer team
• Majoring in business and is considering further study in sports psychology
• Her great uncle Ian Ferguson won multiple Olympic gold medals and world championships as a kayaker
• Cousin Ella Ferguson plays for the New Zealand national volleyball team
• Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:13
• Why I Chose Biola: "Biola was my best option for me. It had the academics that I was looking for, the soccer team is amazing and will help me grow at my game, the campus is beautiful. And most importantly, the people are fellow followers in Christ and I know they will help me grow as a person and in my faith."
