HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated as his class valedictorian from Mazama High School in 2020
• Named Oregon 4A Track Athlete of the Year in 2019 after winning four events at the state championships
• Earned podium finishes in the 100m, 200m and long jump at the 2019 USATF Oregon Association Junior Olympic Championships with his club team
• Won Skyline League Championships in the 100m and 200m
• Took two podium finishes at the 2018 OSAA 1A State Championships
• Holds the Mazama school record in the long jump (22'8")
• Also competed in football, soccer and basketball, earning all-state recognition at cornerback

PERSONAL
• Born November 19, 2001 to Karen & David Carringer
• Majoring in music composition with the hopes of becoming an orchestral composer and arranger for films and other media
• Has two siblings, Josh and Catherine
• Enjoys music, writing, drawing and discussing politics
• Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11
• Why I Chose Biola: “I chose Biola because of its Christian enviornment and the university's academic and athletic achievements."
