• Was a part of the varsity track & field team for three years
• High School Achievements: 2x Texas State Qualifier (300h & 4x400m), placed third in 4x400 (3:14.35) his senior year.
• Was a part of the Atascocita Titans club team, in Humble, TX for seven years. 
• 2018 AAU All-American 400h - 53.35

• Born Jan. 10, 2001 to John and Kim Carswell 
• Majoring in Cinema and Media Arts
• Has two younger siblings: Cole (16) and Channing (15)
• He enjoys surfing during his free time
• Father, John, was an NCAA National Conference Champion in Rifle
• Garrett chose Biola because of the track team and where it is located, in Southern California and near the beach.
• Favorite Bible Verse: Mark 8:36
• Attended Mississippi State where he received SEC Academic Honor Roll before coming to Biola.
