2019
• Played in 13 games with eight starts during his first year with the Eagles 
• Hit .360 in 25 at-bats with five RBI's
• Had three multi-hit games, including a four hit day against Holy Names on March 8
• Had more free passes (8) than strikeouts (5)

• Red-shirted one year with the Toreros

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped at Edison and Ocean View HS, graduating in 2017
• Earned first team all-league honors as a senior after hitting .400
• Also earned an OC All-Star nomination in 2017
• Named to the National All-Academic Team at the AZ Fall Classic
• Four-time scholar athlete

PERSONAL
• Born Aug. 25, 1998 to Claudia and Miguel Abascal Jr. 
• Has seven siblings (Naomi, Kiara, Dana, Brooke, Samantha, Arielle, Tabitha)
• Grew up outside of the country, spending three years in Costa Rica and seven in New Zealand doing mission work for at-risk children
• His father played collegiate baseball and his sisters Naomi and Kiara are collegiate swimmers
• Enjoys serving the underprivileged, hiking, surfing, spending time outdoors and with family
• Majoring in Biology with hopes of starting a medical missions foundation after a professional baseball career
• Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 8:28
