HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at Marist Catholic HS in Eugene, Ore. graduating in 2017
• Hit .457 with 24 RBI as a junior and .511 with 7 HR and 42 RBI as a senior
• Earned all-league first team honors both of her final two seasons
• Led her team to two league championships and the Oregon 5A State Championship
• Earned all-state honors and made the state all-star team as a senior
• Also played basketball and ultimate frisbee for the Spartans
• Made the President's list multiple times

PERSONAL
• Born Dec. 30, 1998 to Keith and Stephanie Balderston
• Has two older siblings (Marshall and Madeline)
• Majoring in liberal studies with hopes of becoming a kindergarten teacher
• She enjoys fishing and hunting
• Her father, Keith, played basketball at the University of Oregon and earned a lifetime achievement award from the Ducks
• Her brother played water polo and baseball in college
• Her grandfather swam and ran track for the Nebraska Cornhuskers
• Favorite Bible Verse: Isaiah 40:31
• Why I Chose Biola: "My grandfather Buele Balderston was a pastor at Hinson Memorial Baptist in Portland, Ore., and he had many Biola students in his church that spoke very highly of Biola. So when I started talking to the softball coaches about going here to play softball, my family already recognized the name and knew it was a good school. When I meet the coaches at Biola I knew this was the school God had intended for me."
