• Sat out the season with an injury

• Appeared in 21 games for the Eagles
• Recorded four hits with three RBI
• Drew six walks
• Had 1.000 stolen base percentage (3-for-3)

2016
• Led all bench players with a .500 average (4-for-8)
• Had one extra-base hit (a double) and scored one run
• Drove in three RBI in just 10 plate appearances
• Was perfect in fielding chances with a 1.000 fielding percentage, four putouts and seven assists

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped three varsity seasons at Horizon Christian Academy in San Diego, Calif., graduating in 2014
• Hit .371 and scored 37 runs as a freshman
• Hit .300, drove in 21 runs and scored 28 times as a senior
• Led his team to back-to-back Lions Tournament Championships and a CIF Finals appearance
• Earned all-league honorable mention
• Made the honor roll and was a CIF Scholar-Athlete

• Born Sept. 12, 1995 to Alan and Franci Nakamura
• Has one older brother (Kealoha) and one younger sister (Selah-Joy)
• His father, Alan, is the head women's basketball coach at Biola
• His father was also a professional surfer and surfer for San Diego State
• Majoring in accounting, with hopes of a career as an accountant
• He enjoys being with friends and family, going to the beach and Disneyland and video games
• Favorite Bible Verse: Matthew 19:26
• Why I Chose Biola: "This is a Christ-centered community with quality academics and professors. The Lord was leading me here. The people here are awesome."
