Biography

2009: Played and started in 21 of Biola’s 22 matches as a sophomore…ranked fifth with 1,744 minutes played…recorded one goal and had five assists for seven points…scored first collegiate goal in Biola’s 4-0 blowout over Soka University (Sept. 18)…assisted on Biola’s lone goal in a 1-0 GSAC victory at Point Loma Nazarene (Oct. 24)…also recorded an assist in the Eagles tie with Texas-Brownsville in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament (Nov. 21).

2008: Played in 15 matches for the Eagles, making 14 starts as a true freshman…played in 1,088 minutes…recorded two assists including the helper on the match-winner in Biola's 2-1 victory over California Baptist (Oct. 28).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner at La Mirada High School…Led team with 16 goals during senior season…Team won Suburban League during senior year…Earned All-League first team, All C.I.F. first team, and Offensive player as a senior…Played under Biola Assistant Coach Phil Yovino at LMHS.

PERSONAL: Business Administration major with plans to play professional soccer…Parents Ileana and Antonio…Sisters Natalie (20), Isabelle (8), and Jazmin (6)…married to Viviana Montalvo and has one young daughter, Rebekah.
