• Prepped four varsity seasons at Seattle Christian HS in Seatac, Wash., graduating in 2010
• Competed in track and cross country for the Warriors
• Captained the cross country team for two seasons
• Team placed sixth in Division 1A competition at state during his junior season
• Team placed third in Division 1A competition at state during his senior season and won the Nisqually League
