Nineteen Eagles Earn Recognition

Biola women's water polo was well represented on the WWPA All-Academic Team

LA MIRADA --- Nineteen Eagles of the Biola women's water polo team were named to the Western Water Polo Association All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

The Eagles were represented by one graduate student, three seniors, five juniors, five sophomores and five freshmen.

Ava LoBue was the lone graduate student who earned recognition while pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Biola's senior honorees were Devon Coppes (English), Mia Mulhall (Liberal Studies Elementary Education) and Emily Guedel (History).

The junior class was represented by Sofia Lazzarini Orlandi (Kinesiology), Stephanie Rodriguez (Psychology), Myah Ibarra (Accounting), Karly Lepel (Psychology) and Annabella Rapp (Liberal Studies Elementary Education).

Sophomores Alyssa Cuevas (Liberal Studies Elementary Education), Gwendolyn Pidd (Art), Clara McKee (Business Administration), Marissa Brock (Liberal Studies Elementary Education) and Savannah Rapp (Liberal Studies Elementary Education) also earned All-Academic honors.

Freshmen Fernanda Luna (Business Administration), Berlynn Mani (Biological Science), Kajsa Brown (Allied Health), Ennovi Dominguez (Political Science) and Yalissa Tellez (Design) rounded out the group of award recipients.
