Box Score AZUSA, Calif.---The Biola men's tennis team fell 6-1 to nationally-ranked No. 38 Azusa Pacific at the Munson and Bavougian Tennis Complex.

Pol Masafret Hernandez secured Biola's point with his singles victory on the second court. Masafret Hernandez lost his first set 0-6 and rallied back to win the next two 6-3, 6-0.

Thiago Canessa lost his match on the third court in a three-set battle. He lost his first set 1-6, came back 6-2 in the second and lost the third 3-6.

Biola lost on courts one and four in the super set. Alejandro Flores Monteverde lost his first set 5-7, won the second 7-5 in the tiebreak and then lost the super set 6-10. Keyon Gahvarehci won his first set 7-3 in the tiebreak, lost his second 3-6 and then the super set 9-11.

Kian Azadi also lost a competitive match on the sixth court 4-6 and then 5-7 in the second-set tiebreak.

Biola plays Hope International next on Thursday, April 9th at the Fullerton Tennis Center.
