Box Score ROCKLIN, Calif.---The Biola men's tennis team improved to 8-0 with their shutout win over Jessup University at the Ventura College Tennis Center.

Biola won the doubles point thanks to wins on courts 2 and 3. Thiago Canessa and Mateo Rivas defeated their opponents 6-3 on the second court and Adam Large and Kian Azadi won 6-2 on the third court.

The Eagles went on to sweep the Warriors in singles play, winning courts 1 and 3 in straight sets. Alejandro Flores Monteverde secured a 6–2, 6–2 victory on court 1 and Juan Vallejo won 6-2, 6-4 on court 3.

Canessa won in three sets on the fourth court. He lost his first set 4-6 and came back to win the next two 6-4, 6-1.

The second and sixth courts were won in super sets. Large won his first set on the second court 6-2 and lost his second set in the tiebreak. Large came back to win the super set 10-8.

Keyon Gahvarehchi lost his first set on the sixth court 5-7 and bounced back to win the next two 6-0, 10-2.

Biola plays next tomorrow Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
