LA MIRADA --- The Western Water Polo Association released its weekly awards on Wednesday afternoon. Gwendolyn Pidd and Fernanda Luna swept the weekly honors.

Pidd secured Offensive Player of the Week honors after a stellar offensive week. Across two conference games, Pidd tallied nine goals on only 12 shots with an average goal percentage of .750. Against Fresno Pacific, she scored five goals, drew two exclusions and added one steal. Against UC Merced, Pidd secured four goals and one steal, leading Biola offensively. 

Fernanda Luna was honored with Defensive Player of the Week. Luna limited Fresno Pacific and UC Merced to a combined seven goals across two games. Luna stopped seven shots against FPU and a record a program record 21 saves against UC Merced. She logged an average save percentage of .800. 

The Eagles will travel to Azusa to take on Azusa Pacific at 7:30 p.m.
