Box Score LA MIRADA---The Biola men's tennis team earned a 6–1 victory over Fresno Pacific at the Biola Tennis Center.

The Eagles won the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. Nationally-ranked No. 1 Angel Guerrero Melgar and Alejandro Flores Monteverde recorded Biola's first victory on the third court (6-4). Thiago Canessa and Juan Vallejo clinched the point on court two, winning 7-5.

Biola carried that momentum into singles play, winning five of the six matches. The Eagles won four of the matches in straight sets. Adam Large earned a 6–2, 6–3 victory on court one. Canessa recorded a 6-1, 7-5 win on the third court. On the fourth court, Keyon Gahvarehchi defeated his opponent 6-2 in the first set and then 7-2 in the second-set tiebreak. Kian Azadi won 6-2, 6-4 on court 6.

Mateo Rivas outlasted his opponent on the fifth court. He won his first set 6-1 and then lost the second in a 5-7 tiebreak. Rivas came back to win the super set 10-8.

With the win, Biola improves to 8-1 overall, while Fresno Pacific falls to 1–3. The Eagles return to action Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. when they face Western New Mexico.
