Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- The Biola women's water polo team took on #18 UC Santa Barbara in Uytengsu Aquatics Center. The Eagles fell to the Gauchos, 17-7. 

The Eagles were held scoreless for the first 15 minutes of the game before Ennovi Dominguez put Biola on the board with 1:18 left in the second period. Fernanda Luna had six first half saves. The Gauchos held a 7-1 lead into halftime.

Biola came out scoring two goals in under a minute, thanks to Stephanie Rodriguez and Ava LoBue with Myah Ibarra assisting both goals. UCSB tacked on six in the period, as BU trailed 13-3 into the fourth.

Gwendolyn Pidd kicked off the final frame for the Eagles trading goals with the Gauchos. LoBue and Annabella Rapp each added a goal before the final buzzer. 

As a team, Biola went 7-for-27 from the field, won two sprints and collected one field block.

The Eagles move to 0-5 overall and take on the USC Trojans at 7 p.m.
