Box Score SURPRIZE, Ariz.---The Biola men's tennis team fell 4-3 to MSU Denver in the consolation round of the PacWest Championships. 

The Eagles won the doubles point, but would be bested in singles.

The Eagles recorded victories in doubles on the first and third courts. Alejandro Flores Monteverde and Jules Zanarelli, nationally-ranked No. 16 by ITA, won the first match 6-2 on the first court and then Thiago Canessa and Mateo Rivas clinched the point with their 6-4 victory on the third.

Biola won singles matches on the fourth and fifth courts but would fall on the first, second, third and sixth courts. 

Santino Serralonga recorded Biola's first singles win, defeating his opponent 6-4, 6-2. 

Canessa won the three-set battle against his opponent on the fourth court. He lost his first set 3-6 but would come back to win the last two 6-1 and then 7-5 in the third set tiebreak.

Biola will compete in the seventh place match tomorrow Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. against the eight-seed Hawaii Hilo.
