LA MIRADA --- The Biola men's water polo squad tacked on academic accolades from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. 15 Eagles made the ACWPC All-Academic Team with impressive GPAs while managing the demanding schedule of a student-athlete.

To be eligible for consideration, an institution's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC while the student-athlete must attain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher. The list is divided into three levels based on cumulative GPA - Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior, (3.70-3.41) and Excellent (3.40-3.20).

The 15 student-athletics on the prestigious all-academic list were split evenly between the three segments. Five Eagles were at the top with an "outstanding" mark with five more in "superior" and five in "excellent" ratings.

Biola led all NCAA Division II programs with 15 ACWPC All-Academic recognitions.
