SAN DIEGO, Calif.---The Biola men's tennis team picked up two singles wins in their 5-2 loss to Point Loma.

Alejandro Flores Monteverde and Patricio Larrea recorded the Eagles' victories in singles.

Flores Monteverde defeated his opponent on the first court 6-4, 7-5 on the first court. Larrea outlasted his opponent in a three-set battle on the fourth court. He lost his first set 2-6 and came back to sweep the next two 6-2, 6-3.

Santino Serrallonga lost a competitive three-set match on the fifth court. He won the first set 7-5, but would fall 5-7, 1-6 in the last two.

Biola's next match is Concordia University Irvine on Tuesday, February 25th at 1 p.m.
