The Biola softball team stuck together in their 4-2 victory against Stanislaus State at Warrior Softball Field.

TURLOCK, Calif.---The Biola softball team stuck together in their 4-2 victory against Stanislaus State at Warrior Softball Field.

The Eagles showed their ability to be resilient against Stan State. Biola was chasing the Warriors 2-1 after the first inning and came back to score two more while shutting them out for the remainder of the game.

Kennadie Tsue scored BU's first run in the first inning. The Eagles tied up the game in the third and scored insurance runs in the sixth and seventh.

Jackie Ibarra singled to lead off the third inning and was pushed over to second by an Alexa Medley sacrifice bunt. Makayla Jordan clutched up to score the game-tying run (2-2).

Biola's final runs were scored in the sixth and seventh innings. Cami Lara scored the go-ahead run for BU in the sixth inning with a single to center (3-2) and Jordan recorded her second RBI of the game, scoring the fourth run (4-3).

Kendall Nakano led Biola's offense, going 2-for-3. Four Eagles batted .500 including Ibarra, Medley, Raquel Reyes and Bridgette Trujillo.

Kayla Bousquette threw the first two innings and was relieved by Maddie Granados who pitched the final five. Granados allowed the Warriors just four hits while striking out one. Granados received the win in the circle, improving her record to 2-2.
