LA MIRADA---Laney Grider was selected as this week's PacWest Player of the Week for her outstanding performances last week against Fresno Pacific and Jessup University. 

Grider was a force to be reckoned with last week, totalling 48 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and three steals against FPU and Jessup.

Grider recorded her first double double of the season in Biola's 79–73 overtime win on Thursday against FPU. Her double-double consisted of 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Grider followed up with a career-high 27 points against Jessup on Saturday, shooting 8-for-14 from the field and an impressive 10-for-11 at the free-throw line. She added five rebounds and two steals in the matchup against the Warriors.

Biola plays next on Wednesday, Dec. 10th at 5:30 p.m. against Point Loma at Chase Gym.
