LA MIRADA --- The Biola volleyball team had four athletes named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators' (CSC) All-District Team.

Hannah Hanson (Accounting), Simi Kapustova (Business Administration), Bri Bellfi (Biological Sciences), and Kendall Vandertuig (Psychology) were recognized on behalf of Biola. 

Hanson, Bellfi, and Vandertuig were honored for the second consecutive year. Kapustova received her first honors. 

The CSC Academic All-District team honors student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible student-athletes must have been a starter or key reserve who played in 90 percent or started in 66 percent of their team's games with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. The athlete must also be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

Vandertuig was chosen to be on the Academic All-America ballot that will be released on Jan. 13, 2026.
