LA MIRADA --- Kendall Vandertuig and Hannah Hanson were awarded All-PacWest honors for their standout seasons.

Vandertuig, a redshirt senior outside hitter, received All-PacWest honors for the first time in her career. She was named PacWest Player of the Week three times over the course of the regular season. In her final season, she ranked second in the PacWest for kills (393) and points (440.5). She recorded 12 double-doubles (kills and digs) and totaled 217 digs, 19 service aces and 54 blocks.

"We are so proud of Kendall. This is the product of five years of hard work and dedication to her craft." stated head coach Brian Failinger. "She is a great example of what it means to be a Biola volleyball player in her dedication to her faith in Christ, to relationships with her teammates, and to her volleyball skill. Our program is so blessed to have her!"

Hanson, a junior setter, received All-PacWest honors for the first time in her career as well. She was an all-around player for Biola, dishing out a team-high 542 assists, which ranked 10th in the PacWest, and the second most kills with 219. 4th in the nation in triple doubles (kills, assists and digs). She recorded 207 kills, 229 digs, 54 blocks, 29 service aces and 262 total points

"Hannah had a very impressive year, being one of the only players in the conference to both run an offense as a setter, and contribute significantly as an attacker." said head coach Brian Failinger.  "She put up both numbers in both areas, and like Kenny, it's the product of all the hard work and extra reps she has put in over her three years. We can't wait to see what she can do in her senior year!"
